Dug out my Canon SX50HA camera to check battery as hardly use it anymore. All good so a couple pictures out of my east facing window for the heck of it.

1st ride about this afternoon since the 20th. Before the white stuff started falling.

Most of the snow gone. Yes!

Headed out on 102 going north then west to 99 the south to 380 and east to Lake Arthur, a spin about the town then 26 and 102 to the hourse. Dat's it. No pictures taken as took enuff snow pics. And nothing caught my eye to get the camera going.

Working on music files as I play all my music in my Traverse off a usb chip and put what I want to hear on it from downloaded songs.

The number to the right side is the amount of songs per directory. LOts of music.

A great afternoon with Da Bride for sure. A round about ride ending at Bubba's Chozen Frozens on 102. Even though the sign still reads Booze & Cues. A couple wines and conversation and home. So glad he's back open for sure. One of my 3 favorite and probaly only places it stop and buy a wine.

Did get the sd card out of the Canon XS50 to go through some pics taken today playing about.

Hello 28th day of January. Hy Ya Tuesday and the 28 th day of January. So proud to see you. Warmed coffee, a trip outside to look at the sky, to the garage to get a few cans of vegges to make another golosh meal today.

Green beans, mixed veggies, pork and sliced carrots. For starters.
Do plan for a check under the house for any water leaks from the freeze. Will have to remove a few covers for that so want it to be warm for my old body.
And mostly, what ever the winds bring our way.

A good ride about with Da Bride sipping wine as we went. Round about ended up at Bubba's Chozen Frozens on 102 for wine and a visit. A great friend for sure.

Then home, sipping wine. No, I'm not in a bind for wine. LOL.

 10  Watching the going on for the fires in the L.A. Area. JUst WOW!

Was on our Jennings Fire Department for years and so glad we never had to face THAT. Feel so bad for the fire fighters as they trying but to no avail.

Only plans today is stay warm. ha ha ha Been the mission for the last week or so. Do need to make it to Lyons Market- Jennings for a few things this morning.

11 Well, did start a new batch of wine. Got juice from Lyons this morning.

1.5 gallons of Strawberry/kiwi juice

1 gallon of water.

6 lbs sugar added

Yeast enhancer and yeast added.

So, lets see where this goes. LOL.

Fig wine tested out at about 10 ABV this morning so will let it set a bit longer. Bubbling at a set ever 4 seconds so yeast still working goodly.

A great afternoon ride with da bride. 102 to 165 to 101 to Loggerheads Bar via back roads.

A wine with the great people working there and pretty crowded. But is Saturday and been many moons since there on Saturday. Now I remember why, way too crowded. So a wine and gone back to Jennings using frontage roads most all the way. Watching the flow of traffic on Da 10.

12 Well hello Sunday! Not a lot happening so far cept staying warm. ha ha ha ha.

Did put tablets in the new fig wine to stop the yeast. So down to a set of bubbles ever 6 seconds now.

The new batch of strawberry juice wine still not bubbling. May have been a bad way to go at it. Probably would of been better just smushing up strawberries cept have no see any yet in the stores. Course only been to Lyons.

So today, Wife churchin' with the sis in law and bout 11 A we go to Green's Cafe for lunch and a ride about. Rain on the way also.

13 Oh well, let's get this day started.

A load of clothes in the washer.

A look at the sky and very light misty rain falling thought the weather peeps say NO RAIN presently LOL Don't think Maw Nature pays attention to weather forecasts non.

6 empty little wine bottles to the garage. 4 full brought back to my room. Hmmmm Looks like going to have to bottle some more small ones this morning.

A check on the wines in the Sewing room bathroom. Will bottle the Fig later today. The new Strawberry starting to bubble at about 8 secs a set. Ya you! First time doing a Strawberry Kiwi juice wine.

Oh my, cool fingers for sure doing wine work outside this morning.

Transferring some Grape and Fig wine into the small 6.3 oz bottle due to needing the 1.5 and 1 liter bottles for the next job.

Transferring newest batch of fig wine to bottles. Cleaning up stuff.

Can really see the difference in the two different methods of getting the figs ready for making wine. Wow!

A ride about with Da Bride this afternoon. Covering from 102 to 165 to 14 to Lake Arthur to LA Bar to 26 to home. In the Traverse today and Loved it.

A stop at the LA Bar and love that gal working there. Lindsie Lacombe the working gal today, Always fun to chat with.

Hi ya Wednesday at 01:38 AM! Oh your skies are cloudy and around 50°F.

But , while coffee is warming, a trip to the Sewing room to check on Strawberry Kiwi wine and tis bubbling at about a set ever 4 seconds.

The to the shop to check on latest Fig wines settling. Doing good. Top half of the 4 bottles pretty cleared up. One 2 liter and three 1.5 liter bottles. Going to let it set a few more days before transferring the cleared part to 1 liter bottles.

Always good to return to this site after roaming a bit. Bought this place in 1969. Still here. Lots of changes for sure.

Went to check on wine and wife working to getting rid of her stock of materials gathered from years of working in Wal-Mart fabric department. Decided to do a couple me and her shots while camera in hand. Ta Da. Will have to do a better one later.

Hello world! So neat to see and feel you on this 16th day of January. Thanks for the great day yesterday with it being capped off meeting old friends.

Wuz feet on the floor at 3:AM and coffee heating, a trip outside to check on fig wine settlement. Looks good.

To the bathroom in Brenda's sewing room to check on Strawberry Kiwi wine and a set of bubbles every 5 seconds. Go Yeast Go.

Do plan on fixing a bad shelf set up in the spare bedroom. Now Brenda's closets of material and a place to lay her clothes. LOL.

Hi Ya Friday! So glad I made it to see U. Heated up the last of yesterday's coffee. A trip outside to bring empty clean wine bottles to the shop and a few bottles back to my room.

Did bottle wine yesterday > from the 1.5 and 2.0 liter bottles to the 6.3 ml bottles. Did rebottle the latest fig wine after leaving it settle for a few days. Taste test done by Brenda says they ( the old and the new batches ) taste the same. And liked them. So all good.

Did stop by the sewing room bathroom and check on the coming Strawberry Kiwi wine and still bubbling at about 6 seconds a set. Go yeast Go. Now on it's 6th day.

Did go for a ride about with my gal yesterday afternoon. To Loggerheads Bar, a wine and back to Jennings and home.

Did finally get a walk in yesterday near noon at my favorite walking place. Temperature gotta be in the mid 50's and not a lot of wind for me. My old body just do not like anything under 50F.

Well, onwards with this fine day with the moon and a few planets visible.

My favorite thing to do is check out the countryside and the sky. Always great pictures for the mind.

Coffee heating as I go out to bring empty wine bottles to the shop and check out the sky in the 50°F air.

Hi moon and Hi Orion Nebula. And back in the warm home.

Did order 2 hydrometers for checking gravity of wine as I dropped and broke my only one last week. Sigh! Been having that one for about 10 or more years. Hmmmmm.

Also got the SD card out of the Canon G16 I keep in the Nissan Rogue when we are in it roaming. Did take 2 pictures yesterday.

Hello snowy morning! Light one falling when I first went outside at 2:30A with camera in hand. Thermo under the carport says 30°F though weather says 28°.

Quick check in sewing room on wine. About 10 seconds per set of bubbles. Gonna let it set till hydrometer I ordered gets here. Might pull a small sample for taste test.

A picture of the wife's work with a friend in her sewing room. Her sewing days are over for the most part with her problems so fixing to have a big sale on material. And she has lots from many years of working in the Material Dept at WalMart.

So, mission today is stay warm and home.
