As time goes by, so does life.
Mowed a bit of grass in the wet section of the yard next door. Then came the rains, again. So, stopped that project.
Got the boat out for a test run and a little fishing with the bale spinning reel. I'm not getting along with that at all. So much simpler for the closed face. So, cleaned up one of my Diawa 33s for the next trip out.
Carpenters showed up and leveled the kitchen to the wife's satisfaction. That's good! ;-)
Well well, walked out to do some tire checking and maintenance and Suzy had next to zero air in the rear tire. Hmmmmmmm. Found a very large staple that had been well hammered into the tire. So, tire repair time with a plug and glue. Then a road test to check it out. All is good so far and it's a pretty new tire but these radial tires with steel in them don't like plugs at times so we'll be watching closely.
Interesting happening when walking in the shop this morning, Wine cork on the floor. Hmmmmmm. Culprit was a 350ml bottle of Satsuma wine that had blown it's cork. Hmmmmm. Stood the other 2 back up fastly plus the 3 grapefruit bottles. Oh well, Good reason to leave them standing for about 6 months I guess.
Added about 2/3rds cup of sugar to the Banana wine as the yeast is not working no more I hope. Done a little taste test and it's different for sure. Now, to let that sit a few more weeks before bottling.
Fun visit with old friends yesterday. Sheena for about 1/2 hour or so, catching up on old times. Down with his back for the last two years and has not ridden his bike since but keeps it up. like that. Then, the road led me to Scott and First Turn and Bill Young. Bill and I talking about old times with his mechanic. The world famous Jawa Burn. Bikes , what's selling , what's not.
Did yesterday on Suzy so need to check the rear for pressure this morning. Then let the winds of fate determine the rest of the day.
