January, went by zoom

 And January is almost over. 3 days left. And what a fine month. 

And a way better month for me than December as far as the Vertigo problem. A slight bit a dizziness at times but almost normal.  Now if all the weird feelings in the head would correct them selves. And, just the head as the rest of the body feels fine. Oh well, what happens happens and an appointment with my cardiologist peeps coming up. Then later in the month my medical doctor. 

Did get the oil and filters changed  out in my Traverse and Brenda's Rouge.  A few weeks back. And that was fun  getting under the vehicles and back up. Had to do it slow and pay attention to the head but did get it done and had to smile that I still could.  ;-) 

My favorite past time in the afternoons is getting Da Bride in Da Wagon and taking off down back roads.  Never know what interesting pictures will happen. 

Course when crossing the draw bridge near Esterwood. 

And one day, a ride out to Houssiere's Park and Bayou Nezpique. 

And on January 7 th, took my gals out to the Lacassine Refuge to check on the birds.  A super great trip for sure. 

And on Jan 10 we got to see these interesting cloud formations. Always love looking at the sky

At freezing weather on Jan 15th made me glad I had done this a few months ago for sure. Keeps under the house about 10 or more degrees warmer than the air. 

And going down LA 99 the 16 of Jan was interesting also. Lots of birds and what I call Honey Curve. ;)

And the 22nd my Sister in Law now living in Jennings since her husband died.  She turned 81 this day and Holly Da Daughter made sure she had a cake. 

Big time rain the 22nd of January brough Bayou Nez to levels had not seen n a long time. 

29 Jan had us seeing a crawfish farmer running his traps.  Been a late year due to lack of water and cold weather. 

And on Jan 31 really high water at the park and Bayou Nez. 

                                                                             

                                                                                 

And that about catches up for Jan 2024.  

The Vertigo has gotten much better.  Say about 60% better from my first day. Just keep on keeping on.
