Hy Ya Febuary

 And already the end of the 4 th day of Febuary. 

28 Jan

Hy Ya Tuesday and the 28 th day of January. So proud to see you. Warmed coffee, a trip outside to look at the sky, to the garage to get a few cans of vegges to make another golosh meal today.

Green beans, mixed veggies, pork and sliced carrots. For starters.

Do plan for a check under the house for any water leaks from the freeze. Will have to remove a few covers for that so want it to be warm for my old body.

2nd get up at 5ish. Well, may as well do a small bit of wine work with the last batch that does have settlement in the bottles. Fixed a 750 ml bottle for a friend and one little 6.3 ml for stock and cleaned the 1 liter bottle and funnel.

low 50's temperature gets me back in the house to warm hands. LOL.

So, sipping coffee and watching old Aussy Family Feud runs on You Tube. My favorite to watch over and over again.

Wow! A bit of rain hit us since last trip out side. LOL Towels on fence that were drying ain't near dry now. ha ha ha ha so moved them under cover.

Bugs off the front of the Traverse and card out of the camera for the 2 pictures I took roaming about yesterday afternoon with the Canon M50. Just love watching what Ma Nature has to offer n the sky.

Hello Friday and last day of January 2025! Wuz awaked at 11:30PM with thunder from the storms. Yes ditch pretty full and around 1.5 inches in the rain gauge. Didn't walk all the way to it as raining pretty good.

Trashcan to the side of the road at the 1st little lull in the rain.

Warmed up coffee, my room and my computer is the plan till get sleepy again.

So, let's see what the Winds will say today. And, wish all Great Winds.

Hello Saturday at 02:30 get up.

Hello Febuary 2025 and just put the newly built calender page on the wall. Forgot whom took the picture but thank you. I didn't leave the house for those 3 days for sure.

Sad is this morning one of my cameras quit working in the settings department. Still takes pictures but won't show setting menus or change anything. One of old Canon G16's. Oh well , it served it's time. So recond the Canon XF50SH gonna be my desk camera now. But much bigger camera. Plus my phone.

So , onwards with this fine day to be alive and even saw stars when venturing outside awhile ago. Yea!

Feb 2

A trip with freshly worked on Canon G16 camera to the garage to check on blackberries in bucket and test camera.

Did get the berries out of the 1 gallon plastic bags. Now wait for totally warmed up. Might have to warm some water up on the stove. Hmmmmm.

Then wine making section of the shop. Kinda sad the rest of shop and all the tools been out of use for a long time. Must be an age thing?

Feb 3

And wine making been the job this morning after the trip to Lyons then to the graveyard to get my morning walk in.

Then busy for a few hours getting the wine making going.

Blackberries churned up with electric blade and water and sugar added. Starting gravity of 1.002 and after 6 lbs of sugar, 1.090. Letting set for a bit before yeast time. Is in a 3.5 gallon plastic bucket.

Grape juice from the store, 1.5 gallons of juice and a gallon of water. Starting gravity of 1.3 and after 5 lbs sugar 1,100. Letting it set for a bit before yeast time. Is in a 3 gallon glass carboy.

Feb 4

On my walk today found this little table in the dumpster at the graveyard. Hmmmmmmmmm. I can use that and nothings broken.
