10 August 2021

And August arrived fast! And me with it > YES!

Did do my 40th fill up on the Traverse a few days ago. The figures on mileage climb fast when going down to one vehicle instead of 4 just a short 1.5 years ago.  And 11,202 my miles show's it's being used daily to the turn of about 60 miles per day average. Other facts the spreadsheet I keep on it show  2.14 to 2.70 for a gallon of gas at same gas station.  21.6 GPM on totally miles per gallon average.  515.7 gallons of gas with a total cost of 1,363.09 dollars

Did finish the concrete brick making project and used the last 2.5 80lbs sack of quickcrete to add to the little back entry to the Wife's Sewing room.  Next is to pressure wash and paint it.

Then was a transplant of my onion patch in the old wheel borrow body that getting pretty bad on the bottom. There was so many grass roots that when attempting to pull grass the whole bed was lifting. So, time for a redo on that dude. Pulled all the green onion plants and put them in a bucket of water. Put the whole root infested bed in the trash and 2 bags of garden soil later, the onions have a new home.

Only other things of interest for me last month was a Trip to New Orleans to bring a bunk bed to Tysen and a Great Visit with just Me, Brenda and Him. Loved it.  Great dinner at a little resturant and Da Wife paid. YES!
Went there on I-10 and back on US 90 for different views. Lot's of memories from the days I traveled those roads weekly for years.

Next was getting Sis In Law door bell situation working and luck has it that it was just a battery change on all of it. She was thinking of getting an electrician to look at it and I told her I was free.  ha ha ha ha.
Had a discussion about it when we went to our Sunday Dinner at Green's Restaurant where the food is GREAT!  Pic of Dee and Bren not knowing I'm taking a pic of them coming to the wagon.

Only other things happening in the last month is grass cutting about every 4 days, Weed eating about every 1.5 weeks.  Getting garden bed ready for Da Wife to plant beans. Which is a done deal.

So, let us see what the rest of August gonna bring out way. ;-)
