06 November 2017

So much time as pasted since been here.
On the Corvette, Been enjoying it much. But, had an incident North of Moss Bluff last month where a guy came off a side street into traffic in a rage and the little lady in the right lane had to take evasive action to miss him and right into the nose of my car. The guy did a hit and run and we were too busy avoiding other cars to get a license number. Not much damage to the car but some more scrapes and tears in the right nose section and a piece broken off the headlight cover.

So , ordered a headlight cover from Vettevillians that had been in a fire but not warped and good to sand and paint for 103 bucks to the door. Pull the nose off and straighted the fog light bracket, patched the cracks and blimishes, sanded , primed , sanded, primed again,  base coat, sanded and clear coat. The last was a mistake as the sanding showed  though the clears so light sanded again and another base coat , then two coats of clear.
Paints and new gun running  around 350 bucks.
Then new light sockets as the old was getting pretty burned and was going to go LED but wrong bulbs and the resistors way to hot for me wanting to live with that. So, back to regular bulbs.
Put the whole front nose back together with all lights  in it and installed on the car. A slight mismatch on the paint but no matter. Do plan to work in a run and some orange peel later but now hurry.

Did order a radio for the car and that should be in this coming week.
Plus , my resoldiering job on the ECBM relay doing just fine and after a thousand miles , has new shown it's face again.
Next is the radio I have coming in for it and at the time rid it of the sirrius set up and see if I can correct the temp readout problem for the Auto Climate controls

The KLR,  Speedo cable broke right before I was going to roll 50,000 miles so did get to do it on the way home. Ordered a new cable assembly and Installed it. Then went and did the rollover.

Next, the clutch cable broke but had one on the shelf so that was fixed fast.

Last week, da Wife mention about my truck leaking oil but I fail to see anything in my drive way so figured it was one of her friends cars. But, a few days ago did see a few drops in my drive to under the truck I went to find the source. Ends up being the rear Transmission seal. So, going to replace that this week.

Fire Dept Bar Be Cue went down yesterday so it was a busy Sat and Sun for me and others that helped out. Love doing that every year though seems like I do less and less as the body gets older. ;-)

28 August 2017

3.2 inches of rain due to Harvey in the last 24 hours. Emptied the gauge this morning about 7A. Even got about 15 mins of no rain and Luce and I took off for a mile walk about the hood. But, the last 1.5 blocks before getting home, rain greeted us again so got a little damp. Then, not long ago around 11:30A, the sun peaked though a hole in the clouds but that didn't last long. Looks like another break in the rain as the feeder stream moves East.
Did get the Craftman lawnmower drive all finished up with the cleaning of the assembly and ready to go back together when get the new parts in. It's around 14 yrs old and have rebuilt the drive system twice so far with this being the 2nd time for the spindle gears. Last time it was the gears on the wheels that wore out.
Now have Battery Tenders on both bikes and the Vette and all the batteries showing green on the charge. So that is good.
Brother in law over for a visit and coffee which is always neat.
Now, for a quick sandwich and maybe a nap. As time goes by.

27 August 2017

Things your forget about putting up pictures when you stay away from your blog too long. The extension build for the truck cab mostly.
It is finished now. Do want to put a coat of sealer on top to cover the screw holes on the old sheets later.  I could not make it any longer due to building code restrictions which I'm over  with the whole lean to but just at the property line. Building inspectors say since it's in the middle of the block and not blocking views, no problem.
Over 4000 miles on the Corvette since buying it the 29th of March on my birthday. Loving it. Need to get a picture set of it and my truck side by side as they are nearly the same color and are the same '03 year. Did turn over 91K miles on the truck last month and the Vette is at 113K miles now. Hmmmmmm Suzuki Bandit is at 84K on the ometer but corrected over 90K and KLR Kawasaki at 49K miles. The KLR is the oldest with the least miles on it.
Last days have been watching Hurricane Walter do it's thing in the gulf and into Texas. And not wanting to go anywhere in a hurry since land fall just North of Corpus. So, been very rain filled time for us and predicted to get worst as the storm progresses inland. Have not checked the rain gauge yet this morning but it was at a 1/2 inch yesterday evening for yesterday.
Both lawnmowers out of commission a few days ago when cutting grass. The Self powered Craftsman eat up the gear drive for the front wheels. So took that all apart and order new gear and bearing.  The Dixon ZTR threw the belt when I took it out of engage so put that back together and tighten up the system yesterday. Plus ordered a new belt for it.
Yesterday was also watching the final Bassmasters fishing tourny and the last day is today for the finale 12.
Also watching the 450 motocross finale races and Tomack getting the Championship for the class. Glad for him. What was a wakeup call was the Dutchman from the World Motorcross coming here to race this one race for KTM and running away from everybody in the first race and coming from dead last in the second race to win it also with a little help from the 1st place rider making a big mistake the last 2 laps and going down. But Marvin did finish 2nd overall.
And this morning is MotoGP as was watching the warm ups in England. Races to start a little later this morning. And it is still a light rain outside so the morning walk is out.
   Till the next.

18 August 2017

Wow! Time has flown by! Seems the older you get, the faster it goes. Here we are at the 18th day of August already.
So what has happened in the last month in my life.  The bad about skipping days and weeks is to remember what you did. But, being as I do a lot of posting on facebook on almost a daily basis I can always refer that direction.
Painting of the house is pretty much done except for the carport and it don't really need it. May do the outside of it to match the house when the weather is cooler and my head is into it.
Then some work done on Suzy the Bandit. Changed sparkplugs with Bike Bandit sending some plugs that 3 of them fit I have no idea. I called and reorder what I wanted and even gave the guy that was a bit argumentive, what I needed. Finally got the right ones. The others, I have to keep as I damage the package they came in. Oh well, had been dealing with BB for years and was very happy with them but that's come to a close as of this transaction. But, Suzy is up and running just fine. But, feeling it really needs the battery changed out as it's going dead over the course of about a week. But, keep it on a charger when not riding it so no biggy yet.
Fixed the broken tabs where the outter fairing screws into the under one. Or I think I have them repaired enough. Time will tell.
Only thing with it now is losing a bit of rear tire air pressure over the course of a week. But only about 5 to 8  lbs so no danger. Won't be that long before I have to change that tire anyway.
The KLR, doing fine and dandy. Just get on and ride.  Did have to change a little oring on the gas cap awhile back as it was leaking a little gas. Also the fuel inlet hose sprung a leak so changed that. All good with it now.
The Vette. Getting to where I use it more and more in the hot afternoons. Fun to drive and good fuel mileage. Needs a few things but not that important at present. Tend to the main one when the weather decides to cool off a bit. Then the other when I change out the radio next year.
Da truck,  2 times when I left the ac on when shutting down the truck, I came back the next morning and battery dead. Must have a shut off relay sticking. But, need to get n the habit of turning all off when I park it for the night.

Me! Doing good but hate the long lasting effects of my heart surgery . Chest still very sensitive, leg where the veins come from also. Really feel it when to too much of a workout involving the chest muscles. But, life goes on.

Still riding the bikes, though not as much as usual as the Vette takes their place with rain around or very hot.

Working on a friends lawnmower for her to help her out. The blade was too bent up to do anything with so had to order a new one from Sears. The worn pull rope I fixed yesterday. Have to take lots off to do anything to lawnmowers today.

So, till the next

21 July 2017

July 21, 2017 already. Where does the time go? Was kinda down a bit when a good friend passed away at 67  yrs old and heart attack. Probably the only friend that still came out and visited about once a week. Oh well, life goes on.

Suzuki on the lift for maintenance work and a bad run of luck getting the right sparkplugs from a company I've used for many years. So, probably won't again.

KLR still just chuggin' away and getting it done. Starting to get a small wobble when letting go the bars around 30 mph. Probably tire wear. Been so hot out and me so lazy have not presuded it much.

Truck just keeps on trucking along and filled it up yesterday for it's monthly fill up unless I take a trip in it.

Vette is still doing great. Still get the trac.control/abs/active steering light on at times. A bit of a job to correct it for the 90% fix so it can wait till the world cools off a bit more.

Started on the driveway shed extension from the garage but that's a long term, when in the mode and the weather is right job. Was working on welding up the floor plates to the two poles yesterday and the Mig welder's feed motor quit so had to swap over to the old Lincoln stick welders and took a bit to get use to it. But, it's done and now need to measure and cut the post the right height. Perhaps this morning? Early!

Me, been doing just fine. Even stopping to do a few beers once in awhile. And wine. Want to start a batch of water melon soon. See if it comes out like the batch I made a few years ago.

And, life goes on, day to day.

06 May 2017

As time flies by, so does life. A few things of interest in the past 3 plus weeks.
Corvette, Still searching for the ABS/Traction Control light reason. Redoing every ground point I find. Seat belt anchor on the drivers seat lost one of the the covers so ordered a replace from VetteVillians. Should be in this next week and have to take the drivers seat loose to install. Also oil/filter change coming up today. And, put the pressure washer to work on the radiator and under engine while it's up in the air and in the driveway.
Right eye doing very well and neat to have that limited vision so clear now. Next is the left at the end of the month.
IRS want's money. 1400 plus on 2015 Taxes the wife totally screwed up. Poor gal learning the hard way what I was doing for years.
Truck got it's annual wax job. Really not sure the last time I waxed the whole truck. Usually just the cab section.
Neat to be back on the bikes. But hip joints were pretty stiff after my 118 mile ride yesterday without a break.
Heart work seems to be doing fine. The breast bone getting better but a ways to go and doubt if it's ever gonna be the same again. At least, that's what I'm told. The leg incisions where they got the veins is still pretty tender also.
Well, onwards with this new day and see what the winds of fate blow our way.

13 April 2017

As time flies by. 13 April already. Finally got back on the bikes last week for short rides about town on the KLR and a 45 mile run on Suzy. The wind causing the shirt to be against the chest at speed is not comfortable so will be limiting that till the healing gets better. Or, try different clothing for the chest area.
As for the Vette, still loving it. And, learning it. Failed attempt to get the stickiness off the airbag/horn assembly and hated putting my hand on it and feeling it's stickiness. Stopped by a detail shop and he tried a few things on it with no success. So, ended up ordering one from a guy that parts out C5's. 78 bucks and it was on my doorstep.
Installation went better than I had thought with my chest still in the heal mode. Had to change on connection on the horn ground wire. All finished and hooked the battery up again, and horn works so all is good. But, first drive and the ABS/Traction Control lights are lit up on the dash. Came home and shut down in the garage. Later, started up and all cleared. Hmmmmmm???????. Oh well!
A few days later, had the hood open to check fluids and first start after that, the light back on for 1 run then cleared.
Took Bren and Luce on a ride to Cameron and across the standby ferry to Holly Beach. Car drug bottom getting off the little ferry so won't be going that way again till the big ferry is fixed.  So onwards to the West we went and stopped to walk the beach a bit near Johnson Bayou area. Then to Port Arthur and the war memorial there for a stop. After that it was to Orange and i-10 back home. about a 245 mile Vette trip which she enjoyed. But, her and the dog very tired.
Other issue was yesterday and the right front signal light not working. So, a study on the ways to get to it. First attempt was though the Brake Vent on the bumper and hands too big. Had a bit of a time getting hand back out. Next was though the little bit of plastic cover with the spoiler. Could not get a good grip on the light socket there eight. So the 3rd method was taking the shield and top off the head light. That got it done. Turned out to just be a bad connection with the bulb so cleaned it up and put all back together.
Then, two lights on the dash for the ABS and stuff back on. Took a ride about to Crowley and Eagan and back home. Shut all down. Restarted car and lights gone. Gotta be a bad connection somewheres so the hunt will start today.
Grandson over this last Saturday for working with Brenda. Did pressure wash the whole carport after we set up the pressure washer for him. Then he put a sealer on the weather side of it the concrete which is doing a good job of sheding water.
A call from Sugercare in Lake Charles also yesterday to touch bases on my up coming eye surgery next Wednesday the 19th. Will be contacted again Monday for time to be there and further instructions.  Will need to start eye drops Sunday as per pre-op instructions.
Bout caught up on the happenings so , till the next.

05 April 2017

April 5th has arrived and all is good. Been a good week with getting things done and the healing part on the chest. Just taking way longer than I was thinking it would. But, such is life.  Was able to cut all the yard with the walk behind lawnmower a few days ago without bother so liked that. More exercise.
Went an picked up Zack the grandson Saturday in the car which was a big hit with him. Did some work I wanted to get done moving some stuff about and then the wife took over with her list of chores for him. Went and got Pork Steak Barbecue meals for all of us at the little church that cooks every Saturday. One of our habits and the food is great.
Then took Zack with me to the Car Show at the park in Lake Arthur. Many great works of are there. Saw a few people I knew. And, after about a couple hours and a couple laps around the place, back to the house.
But, a few pics from the park.

Other than that, Lovein' my car and really enjoying driving and learning it. The Horn/Airbag module was sticky from something put on it and could not get it off so  have one coming in from a salvage shop to replace it.
Got so used to the USB drive in my truck, I get annoyed at the radio stations fading in and out as you drive about the countryside. Course, it does have a CD player I could see if worked. LOL! May do that today. And also have mp3 players with ear buds to keep in that car. Only had it a week today so it's a work in progress with much learning about it.
Yesterday was a trip to LC town and to Falgoust ( pronounce FAL GOU ) eye clinic for a follow up on my first visit a few weeks ago. More paperwork the subscriptions to the eye drops I'm gonna need for both eyes. And WoW, those drops are gold. I did get one reduced with a coupon and maybe could of had another but after 3 tries on the phone trying to understand her and punching numbers and then having it disconnect at the end, I gave up on that one. Still was 430 bucks for all. So, we are set for surgery the 19th of April and they will call me on what time to be at the Surgery Care place. Need to start following procedure on the eye drops a few days before. Just need to follow and check off the schedule printout they gave me for before and the month after operation.
Chest is getting better as time flys and I don't over stress it as have done in the past 10 weeks at times. Was able to do the whole yard with the Craftsman self-propelled mower and I like it due to more exercise. And let the Dixon rest a bit. ;-)
So, till the next.

29 March 2017

Happy Birthday to me! 74 yrs old. Time flies.
The '95 Corvette Coupe lasted 9 months with me and is gone. Sold to Guinn's. Cost of last repair was 600 labor and about 340 in parts. Being as I came close to selling it for 3500 bucks with the water pump and optispark needing changing out, I did come out ahead fixing it and getting 5000 for it.

It's replacement. An '03 50th Anniversary in great shape. Story on it was seeing it on the internet for sale and seeing it was in Ragley really got my interest. Price of 13,500 was good also. 108,000 miles on it. So, after a few text messages to the wife or owner and a few calls to owner, I got up there and looked at the car. We even went for a ride in it so I could see how it ran. Was surprised at how much more room it had than my C4.
Next was waiting for the repairs to be completed on my car and get it sold. Got the call from Mark's Auto Monday morning it was done. So, we got ahold of the buyer and all was done pretty fast.
Tuesday was waiting for  Home Health Nurse to come discharge me and that happened just before 9AM, then went and got the plates off the old Vette so I could turn them in, get the notification and get my insurance canceled.
Then to the bank for money to pay for car and to Sulpher for paperwork and pay for car. A big bag of receipts on work done on the car. Then back to Jennings and to the insurance place to cancel ins on '95 car and get ins on the '03 car. Then to Dept of MV and it was very crowded so back home to wait till morning.
So , this morning DMV and all done fast with about 1050 bucks for taxes and paperwork and lic plate. Call my friend to see if he wanted to ride out with me and bring my truck back from Ragley and we were gone.  Learning the car and instrumentation is next. So enjoyed driving it back home today. Got the bugs off, a little wax on the hood and battery tender on to bring batt up to full charge. Checked oil > good  Checked tires,  One low. Fixed that.
Even clean the truck windshield.
Finished put little work tables together to stack some metal roofing on also. Then that was it for the day. Weather that was coming hit us about 7ish and mostly the 1st wave has passed. Looks like we may get to be in a seam between the bad stuff. We'll see.
To the next.

22 March 2017

Yeah! Payday for me from SSI. Down a bit on the account from truck repair and camera lens with hood. But, playing with photography and keeping the truck up is life. Then there is the 20 and 40 bucks for the eyeball people.
May as well start on the eys first. Went to the Surgeon to see about getting the left eye fixed. After a lot of testing, he wants to do the right eye first to get my preferential back just n case of something happening to the left. Oh well, next appointment for him is the 4th of April with possible operation two weeks later. Then a follow up visit the next day, the next week, the next month, the next 6 months to make sure all is okay.
The Vette is now in the shop to have the water pump , belt, hoses and optispark changed out. I was able to get all the parts on line for about 340 bucks ( Another reason for the down account average I forgot to mention up there ) . Had to pay 40 bucks to get a truck to bring it from home to Mark's as I didn't want to drive it that far. It might die like it did coming home and we had to push it the last 1/2 block to my driveway.
Good news it that it's sold pretty much as soon as it's fixed. I even told them he could have it right out of the shop, I didn't need to drive it. Just call me and we'll get the paper work done. And I'll say Goodbye Black Vette. It was a fun experience learning you and driving you.

Then , on to getting a C5 I have a lead on in Ragley.  Talked to the guy and was gonna go see it today but other things came up so called and cancelled and will try again tomorrow. It's an 03 Silver paint with grey interior and just what I was looking for. But, need to have the 5 g's in my account from the present car before can get it. 13,500 for the car and then 1390 abouts for DMV and 530 for insurance really brings the total price up.

Last Summer the AC in Bren's Sewing room went out so decided to get that fixed as it's getting warmer everyday. Had an electrician come run a new line to the receptacle  and go to 110V instead of 220. Also, she went with a cooling unit instead of a heat/cool unit. Much less money. Ended up with a 12,000 BTU unit at 380 with taxes. Had a couple friends come take the old one out and put the new one in place. Then had a secure it inside the old shell and make it fit, brace it, make it presentable and plug it in. All is good and the room is cool again.

Chest is healing way slower than I want. I did have a couple back steps from doing things I should not have done and kinds set myself back a bit. Lesson learned though. Just takes for ever to heal so I can do what I like to do physically.

Lots of Netflix lately watching movies and one 13 part series. Makes the time go by and keeps me still. ;-)
Till the next.

10 March 2017

Pretty fast weeks flown by since last post.
Truck issues fixed for the lovely tune of 640 bucks.
First >  The engine light turned out to be a stopped up vent over the gas tank which caused the gas tank to be removed to get to said filter.
Second > The AC leak ended up being one of the lines going inside the firewall needing to be replaced.
In getting the truck back, I tried out the AC and all worked fine. Come home and parked truck till the next morning and the battery was flat dead. So, put my big charger on it and Luce and I got in the Corvette to go for our morning run about.  I did leave the AC and Recirculation on , along with the fan. I did hear the fan shut off so it much be something in the AC that not shutting off. No matter, I just make sure I turn everything off now.
Next was Corvette problems. When going to get Bar Be Cue meals Saturday, It didn't want to start as normal and notice it was idling ruff at stops. Finally , died a half block from home and would not start. So, with help of 3 neighbors, pushed it in the driveway. A few hours later , went to check it and it started normally. Sat there letting it run and reving it up a bit. Then pulled it in the garage a bit and notice smoke coming from under the hood. Killed it and got out and noticed a lot of fluid in the diveway. Open the hood and liquid everywhere. First thought it was the AC unit as lots of fluid there.
So, let it set and called guy that was buying it from me to let him know about the car. So far still wants it. For next two days, car would not even fire, just turn over. Finally weather changed to dry air and I got it started. Hmmmmmmmmm. Let it run and notice spray of fluid coming up from front of engine and feeling like antifreeze. To dark and too much stuff in the way to see much more. So , shut it down and put a trouble light in the front of the engine to help dry out the opti distributor. Started yesterday with no problem. Have not called buyer on this as he's suppose to be here Saturday to pick up car so it's gonna be a pleasant surprise for him for it not being the AC pump like I first thought.

Have locate a C5 about 40 miles away I want to go see already. If it seems all okay and I can get him down about a thousand , may buy it.

On me < The healing continues and can do more and more without the chest bothering me. Was even able to fire up the little lawnmower yesterday to mulch some leaves.

The there was the eye doc appointment yesterday. Got tired of WalMart and went to a local eye doc. After exams and all, time for surgery on the cataracts.  Left eye only and can't see out of the right anyway from  retinal damage years ago.  Appointment with new eye surgeon next Friday. Guess this is gonna be Rebuild AC year. Sigh.

21 February 2017

Already the 21st day of Feb and time just keeps flying by. Still living with the restrictions of a sewed up chest which gets better day by day. Visit the 8th with Dr Mousett's nurse was good and  back driving again but easy like. No motorcycles though. But, neat to get out in the Vette once in awhile.
Was able to easy though some weed eating and riding the Dixon to cut some grass without stressing out the chest area.
Still losing friends via the graveyards thought. 3 in the past 2 weeks. /But, as you get older, gonna happen more often I guess. Untill it's your turn. Then, no concerns anymore. ;-)

Did get the LX17 Nitro sold and what a mess that was with the guy having to borrow money from a bank. Wow, the paperwork for the last 2 weeks. Finally just went to his bank yesterday to see if we could speed up the process and was a win win.  Had an appointment with my heart doc in LC town anyway so got all combined in time frames and come back to town with a check in my name. Yes!!!!!!!. Don't think I'll ever sell that way again. Cash or walk.

Good visit and check up with Dr Dupre's Nurse yesterday , EKG and all worked out good. Tow less meds for fluids and one added for cholesterol. So , in shape with meds for awhile. One for regulating heart, one for thyroids, one for cholesterol plus the aspirin a day of the low caliber.

Truck's Check engine light has been bugging me for a few months now so will swing by Mark's and see what that's about. Don't seem to be changing anything in the way it runs and t's going to be a job for him as I can't do anything pulling on wrenches just yet.

Then, we'll just see what the winds of Fate blow our way.

03 February 2017

The last days have been both the most painful in my life and a lot of lessons learned about the body. Bowel plug was the most painful for 2 days running before we got it to turn loose. Then, uncontrollable bowels , but had to get it out.  A bit more predictable now, the 15th day after surgery. Finally finished one to the med yesterday. which is good. Still have 2 happening twice daily and 4 happening once daily. Then an added to the set, a stool softener at night before going to bed.

The feeling with the body is much better and had left the pain pills I can do if needed.

Getting into the habit of lots of fluids, watching weight and BP several times a day. Doing the 2 min walk 4 times a day. The blower 10 reps at 4 times a day. And anything else I can do to get it right.

Chicken breast cooked with olive oil and a bit of Broth and a bit of rice was great for Dinner and Luce love her share.

Now , to clean the kitchen and a nap perhaps. ;-)

31 January 2017

And, on the twelfth.  Back at home and walking and talking and healing.
Home nursing coming once a day since Friday. Today  Allen with PTherapy came by to do an evaluation.

So , been a heck of a time with Triple by-pass surgery.  A major change in my life style also.

18 January 2017

Wow! What a change in my world! Follow up on the Nuke test involved going through my wrist to check out the vessels in my heart. Has one that's been totally stopped up from years back,  Dr found more clogged vessels in the heart leaving just one supplying. What was strange is I had not big chest pains that I was ever concerned about, no shortness of breath, and went through the stress test treadmill walk with no problems.  So, shows just because you think your healthy don't mean you are.
So, talking this the surgeon yesterday, triple by-pass gonna happen.  A ton of paperwork to read and sign at the Doc's office. Paperwork to carry to the hospital. Then to the hospital and start off at Admit. From there, was guided and attended to by a great staff at St. Pat.s.  Bloodwork, Urine sample, MRI, X-ray, neck ultrasound, more blood work and more paperwork to sign. Lastly, instructions on picking up a laxative on the way home and instructions up to being at the Emergency Entrance to the hospital at 5:AM Thursday morning.
So, bikes on battery tenders, car ran yesterday as mode of transportation to LC and back.
Did the Clean out of the intestines yesterday afternoon and oatmeal this morning.  Light walk with Luce, a small load of clothing washed, dryed and put up and a visit to the Fire Station. Now, chill mode.

11 January 2017

Already the 11th day of January. Wow! Time flys by faster and you get older I do believe.  No matter, as long as you can still do most of what you want to do daily.
This last cold spell where it was down in the 20's for a couple mornings was not to my liking. As a 70 to 90 F degree person here for sure. So, stayed home and warm for those 2 main days.

A follow up call from my heart peeps saying they plan on going in to check blood flow Monday the 16th. So, we'll see how that plays out. May solve a few minor problems I've noticed with my body.

The Corvette is doing fine and really getting to enjoy riding about on the back roads even though it does not like rough roads with the hard suspension. Did 80 miles just roaming on some roads had not been on in awhile yesterday and totally enjoyed it. Was very windy out so the bikes stayed parked.

No sale on the boat yet. A few pretty interested but no transactions. And, a few more wanting to trade stuff or me go down a couple thousand. No want trades and sticking with the 7K price. I'm losing money even at that. Plus, want the money so I can upgrade in my Vette life. LOL.

Other than a ride about once in awhile, a few beers here and there , been it for travels.

Did do the first racking on the latest batch of dew berry wine. That was pretty fast with about 3 weeks involved. The satsuma wine is still working and it's been since Nov 25th. May test it today. Gonna let the Berry wine settle in the 1.5 liter bottles a few days then swap it over to 1 liter bottles for cleaner wine.

The Lemon wine is WOW! And, still have a bunch in the freezer so gonna make some more to that.

So , till the next. ;-)
